A Tribute to our late Chairman, Andrew Brodie

Many of you will remember the wonderful wine dinners that Andrew Brodie used to organise in London with Jack Rubyn, chairman of the Marin County Branch in California.  Following Andrew’s untimely death in 2016, Jack sponsored a special dinner in his memory at Pied a Terre led by Mathieu Germond, who was Restaurant Manager there at the time.  Now Mathieu has his own restaurant, Noizé, and Jack is sponsoring a repeat performance, featuring Andrew’s favourite California Zinfandels from Dry Creek Valley, which he will choose from his cellar to complement each course.

We will start with canapés and 2019 Marimar Estate Blanc de Noirs Sparkling Pinot Noir, Dona Margarita Vineyard – Sonoma Coast, and the menu is planned to be as follows.  There may be small changes to take advantage of the best seasonal produce available at the time.

Marinated Sea-Bass, escabeche Vegetable, Green Sauce
2022 Californian Albarino, Marimar estate, Russian River.

Roasted Partridge Breast, Confit Leg, Choucroute
