The Army and Navy Club
This eclectic selection of mature French wines covers different regions and styles, including Burgundy, Bordeaux, the Loire, Alsace and the Northern Rhone. They vary from dry to sweet whites to dry reds, with a range of grape varieties, from vintages1982 to 2004. The producers range from little known to the famous. Some of the wines are no longer available in the UK from those older years. Those that are, are in many cases selling for hundreds of pounds per bottle.

Château Rieussec Sauternes 2003, 14%.
The tasting will be organised and presented by Dr Bernard Lamb. A cold buffet will be porovided by the Club.
