Here is a unique opportunity to taste wines from the cellar of our long established member Richard Duncan.   He spent many years in the wine trade and has a superb collection.

The sherry is a super rich one, so you will need a palate cleanser!  The Rieussec is included as an interesting contrast to the two Loires, not least since it has always been deemed unusually dark coloured as they now are.  The Cahors is a total oddity with a history, but its drinkability may not be guaranteed, as in a different way is the Johannisburger!

The wines will be tasted in pairs, and presented by Richard himself in conjunction with Chris Davenport Jones.  For those who want even more wine there will be a couple of magnums of mature Rhones to drink afterwards with the remainder of the food!  It should be a fascinating evening.

A cold buffet will be provided, with cold meats, bread, cheese and salad.
