Join us for a wine tasting and lunch at Langton’s in the splendid surroundings of the Magna Carta Park at Runnymede on Tuesday 3rd February.
This will be a joint event with Surrey Hills Branch and Audley Coopers Hill, and we have only a very limited number of places. These are not available for booking on the London web site, so please contact Stephanie at the email address below if you would like to attend.
iWe will be featuring wines from well-known grapes and comparing similar wines from Europe and the New World. The tasting will be presented by Chris Bocking from Laithwaites who will choose wines from his list that offer particularly good value at the time. Experts and non-experts will be equally welcome.
There will be a glass of sparkling wine (non-alcoholic option available) to start, followed by tasting portions of two white and six red wines, accompanied by canapés. The chef will be preparing a special two course lunch menu for us to follow. Menu details will be published nearer the time. The all-inclusive price for members will be £65.

The Magna Carta Park is off Coopers Hill Lane close to Englefield Green on the A328. It is two miles from Junction 13 on the M25. The nearest station is Egham, a five-minute taxi ride away. It is also on the No 8 bus route. For Satnav use TW20 0LJ, not the one published for Langton’s.
