Event Description
Austrian wines went through a rough patch a few years ago, but are now very greatly improved. We will show roughly 9 wines from Austria originating from different areas and using different grape varietals, some red, some white. This will be followed by a simple Austrian style dinner. Austrian wines offer good value in the UK, but are not in the fashionable category so this event might offer you the chance to recall what the Austrians are capable of producing. The event will be led and hosted by Chris Davenport-Jones.
