Lunch at the Savile Club

In Past Events by ashepherdiwfs

Following the great success of his event at Sam’s Riverside, David Wakefield has organised a lunch for us at another of his favourite venues.  The Savile was founded in 1868 by gentlemen who wished to have a Club where discussion of the Arts, in the widest sense of that word, would be encouraged, accompanied by good food and wine. That ethos continues to this day in the Club’s elegant premises at Brook Street.  Current members include well-known figures from many walks of life but the Club’s mantra ‘leave your halo at the door’ ensures an egalitarian approach by all members, irrespective of their eminence or otherwise.

We have been granted exclusive use of the Drawing Room, and will have a set lunch of seasonal produce and appropriate wines selected by the Head Chef and Sommelier.
