A tasting and talk on the different styles made by one Champagne house, hosted by Chris Davenport-Jones

Date(s) - Mon 21st Oct, 2019
7:00 pm

Chris Davenport-Jones

This event is designed to demonstrate the difference between the house brut, extra brut, vintage, extra sec and rosé champagnes, all made by Serge Matthieu, who is in the Côtes de Bar area, and renowned for making extremely fine Champagne. Chris first encountered his wines in a MW seminar on individual expressions of Champagne. Included in this event will be some historical details of the making of the wine, and we will be showing a still red and white wine of the area, not available in the UK.

This is essentially a re-run of the event held in Q2 which was over-booked.

A simple meal with canapés and will be served.
