It has often been written that mature red Burgundy does not last as long as red Bordeaux. From our experience and based upon many tastings we have arranged to date, the opposite seems to be true.

Tonight we will taste a range of Burgundy of the 1980’s from respected growers to once again confirm this.

1987 Bourgogne Rouge Tastevinage
1987 Volnay Tête De Cuvée
1986 Volnay
1986 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
1986 Gevrey-Chambertin Tête De Cuvée
1985 Gevrey-Chambertin
1983 Côtes de Beaune Villages
1983 Beaune 1er Cru ‘Marconets’ Tête De Cuvée

The tasting will be accompanied by cold meats, cheese, salad and french bread.
