This year your Committee decided not to add to the plethora of meals in the period leading up to Christmas, but to have a dinner in the New Year instead.
The Innholders’ Hall is one of the few London livery halls with its own Michelin-starred chef, Herbert Berger, and those who have attended previous IWFS events there will confirm the quality of the food that he can produce. Now Herbert has once again put together a bespoke menu for the London Branch, which will be complemented by his choice of wines.
We will commence with a champagne reception, and the menu is provisionally as follows
- Amuse Bouche
- Red mullet escabeche with black tapenade crostini
- Fillet of lamb with wild mushroom gratin, Madeira jus and caramelised turnips
- Bitter chocolate marquise
- Coffee and petits fours
This event will be held in the New Court Room, where space is limited, so please book early to be sure of a place. Herbert Berger’s record is second to none, and we can be sure of a superb evening.
