Richard Duncan and Andrew Brodie, looking to the aims of the Society to
explore great wines in good company, have again constructed a favourite
format of a tasting followed by a formal dinner which members enjoy so

This time we will be using Richard’s enthusiasm for Loire wine and his
cellar to source the very high quality wines we expect.

Once again Richard the chef at the Naval Club, has joined with our
enthusiasm, and is constructing a matching menu, and a splendid evening
is forecast.

We will be tasting:-
Bonnezeaux. Ch. de Fesles. La Chapelle, 1988 – J Boivin
Coteaux de Layon Beaulieu. Ch. de Breuil vieux vignes, moelleux, 1990 –
Cote de l’Aubance. Domaine de Bablut. 1989 – Daviau
Vouvray. Aigle Blanc. Clos Baudoin, vin de tris, moelleux, 1990 –
Vouvray. Clos du Bourg, 1ier tris, moelleux, 1990 – Huet

1st course:-

2nd course:-
Chinon: Clos du Chene Vert, 2003; Clos de la Dioterie, 2003 both Joguet
