Winner of the Good Food Guide’s London Best Restaurant Award in 2009, l’etranger in Kensington serves Japanese-influenced French cuisine, as well as maki and sashimi alongside a world-class wine selection. An award winning restaurant, l’etranger has earned over 30 accolades, including an AA Rosette for Best Wine List in the UK 2013, since its opening in 2002.
Peter has been able to match this fine food with a leading German winemaker.
Domaine Reichsrat Von Buhl – One of the oldest and most respected wineries and one of the most innovative. They have been a family-owned winery for more than 150 years, and have belonged to the circle of the most prestigious wineries in Germany for just as long. Since it was founded in 1849, Reichsrat von Buhl has made its wines in a terroir-dominated, timeless style that has never been oriented to fashion, but always to the grapes’ origins in the best soils of Deidesheimer and Forster. The wines are certified organic, and are an active ambassador of both natural, sustainable viticulture and of the best German wines.
