Do join us at this Zoom tasting, to share tasting experiences – as much or as little as you want to contribute – and learn a little about Italian wines, Tuscan wines and the Sangiovese grape!

As usual I have suggested three wines from the current Majestic list, but at this time of year, they cannot guarantee general availability.  (If you place an order for at least six wines with your local Majestic by telephone, they will deliver to you, and the wines will be at a discounted price – the price shown below, which may change.)

Dogajolo Carpineto 2018, Toscana £10.99, “Baby Tuscan” (i.e. Baby c.f. Super Tuscan a term used to describe red wines from Tuscany that may include non-indigenous grapes – this particular wine is still 80% Sangiovese)

Chianti Classico Riserva 2016 Villa Antinori £20.99

Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano 2016 Bonacchi, £13.99 (or a Brunello di Montalcino) (not simply “Montepulciano”)

I’ve underlined the type of wine we’ll be discussing and tasting, in case you look elsewhere, or you already have some Sangiovese and/or Tuscan wine to bring along. (These types of wines are normally widely available, but stocks are low at many wine merchants and supermarkets this January, and will no doubt be replenished soon.) Please feel free to do so, and if you would like to email me in advance about your choice, or with any queries, please do!

There is no charge for this event, but pre-registration is required.

Looking forward to the tasting, which will be led by me,
Rachel Burnett rayeburnett@gmail.com

Near the date we will email you a link for you to join the meeting, and a tasting sheet.
