The Army and Navy Club
These 10 wines are from classic areas of France, The Northern and Southern Rhone, Pomerol, Saint-Julien, Pauillac, Alsace and Sauternes, including some favourite producers and some great vintages. The six reds vary in vintage from 1979 to 2002, and sweet whites from 2000 to 2003, including two Vendages Tardives. All have had time to mature. They would cost several thousand pounds at today’s prices.
