An Introduction to Portuguese Wines
– ‘Underrated and Undervalued’Date/Time
Date(s) - Tue 17th May, 2022
The Army and Navy Club (RAG)
Since the ‘noughties’ Portuguese wine makers have excelled at producing outstanding wines from their local grapes, many from vineyards hundreds of years old. Young winemakers who’ve learned from other European masters and using Modern viticulture techniques have succeeded in winning Gold and Silver medals for their innovative and imaginative wines. If you have not tasted Portuguese wines before, you will be pleasantly surprised.
We will taste 10 wines from different Portuguese regions and made from indigenous grapes.
