Bethnal Green Town Hall has been transformed into a hotel with two restaurants, and is now famous as a foodie haven. The menu here is just that bit different. If you fancy a stroll after lunch, the well known Toy Museum is nearby.
The town Hall opened in 1910, the heyday of Edwardian Architecture and British supremacy. Having a splendid addition of Art-Deco interiors it has featured in many films and dramas, fashion shoots and music videos. Recent productions include: Atonement; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Snatch and Edge of Love.
A three course lunch with a glass of sparkling wine to start with snacks, includes another three glasses of wine with coffee to finish and petit fours. The menu will be made up of seasonal ingredients.
The Corner Room Restaurant is all bare boards and hanging lights, see images via link: http://townhallhotel.com/cornerroom/
