Here is an opportunity to enjoy some top end mature Clarets with dinner at the Army and Navy Club (“The Rag”).  The wines are from the cellar of our member Michael Daiches, and were selected from among the most highly rated shown at his tasting in April. They are all from good vintages and good chateaux.

This event has been rescheduled from 29th June and will follow the AGM. As a result, the Branch will bear the cost of the venue, and has been able to reduce the price by £20.

The original menu has changed to reflect The Rag’s current seasonal menu. There is no change to the wines.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the London Branch of the International Wine and Food Society shall be held at 6.30 pm on Thursday 26th October 2023 at The Army and Navy Club, 36-39 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5JN for the following business:

  1. Apologies for Absence
  2. Minutes of the Last Meeting
  3. Matters Arising
  4. Chairman’s Report
  5. To receive and consider the accounts for the period 1st July 2022 to 30th June 2023
  6. Appointment of an Examiner
  7. Membership Matters: including subscription rates for 2024.
  8. To elect Branch Officers and Committee Members*
  9. Open Discussion and Any Other Business
